No Parking Rules, Bengaluru

The modern tech city of Bengaluru (Bangalore) began as a 16th century fortified settlement that was built here by Hiriya Kempegowda, a local chieftain. Over time, it attracted migrant artisanal and mercantile populations from neighbouring regions who settled here and called it home. Their live, work and worship areas influenced city identity and contributed to the unique cultural pluralism that Bengaluru is known for today.

Bengaluru is a quirky city whose unpredictable weather, local lingo and helpful directional tips like “go dead-end-right” (or left) are legendary. Looks like, the writing’s on the wall.
