Windows and doors are points of intersection between the outside world and our inner lives. They are also stories within themselves. But the view from either side is always different, depending on your frame of reference: are we letting the world in or shutting it out? These images are a comment on personal privacy and social isolation and how they are influenced by a modern, isolated urban society vs. more traditional, trusting and open structures. While closed doors inspire me to discover what lies behind the facade, many find even open doors intimidating. (Extended album)
